Darshan Academy organized a Future Pathway career counselling programme, for the students of Classes X and XII. The session aimed to guide students in making informed academic and career choices in agriculture, plant sciences, and research.
The programme was graced by Dr. Aman Sharma, Plant Pathologist, Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, Punjab Agricultural University, and Dr. Simrat Singh, Scientist, Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, Punjab Agricultural University, in the benign presence of the respected LMC members, who added great value and encouragement to the programme. The resource persons provided detailed information about the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at Punjab Agricultural University, the admission process, and the entrance tests required for various programmes. They encouraged students to explore diverse career opportunities and make decisions based on their interests and abilities.
As a part of promoting environmental responsibility, the distinguished guests and respected LMC members also participated in a tree plantation drive on the school campus by planting saplings, inspiring students to contribute towards a greener and more sustainable future.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the Principal, Mrs. Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh, who expressed sincere gratitude to the distinguished guests and LMC members for their gracious presence, valuable insights, and inspiring contributions to the programme’s success.
