Mock Evacuation Drill

Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, conducted a mock drill to prepare students for safe evacuation in an earthquake. Students were taught the exit plan and standard operating procedures to follow.  The drill commenced with the sound of the long bell, followed by the rescue process. This was followed by the swift movement of the students with their teachers towards their exit routes to the open school field. The class teachers took a headcount of the students and reported it to the authorities.  Finally, all the students, accompanied by their class teachers, were dispersed in an orderly manner to their classrooms. The mock evacuation drill was an exercise to train the students to face and handle emergencies in real life.
