Darshan Academy celebrated the Darshan Week of Love and Service from September 7 to 14, 2024, to commemorate the birthday of Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj. The week-long celebration aimed to promote love and service among students, staff, and the community. Activities and Events:
1. Special Assembly: Students conducted a special assembly, showcasing their understanding of love and service.
2. Donation Drive: Students and staff donated items in good condition. Classes 1-10 collected various items for donations, such as toothbrushes, soap, old clothes and utensils.
3. Creative Expression: Students engaged in creative activities, such as, diya painting, earth pot painting with quotes on love, creating thank you cards, and envelope making with quotes on love. There was also a vegetarian party and a role-play on love and service.
4. Community Service: Students of class XI visited Manukhta Di Sewa Mullapur and contributed eatables and other essential items for needy people.
The Darshan Week of Love and Service was a resounding success, fostering a sense of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility among students and staff. The celebration embodied the values of love and service, inspired by the teachings of Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj.
