Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on August 15, 2022. The school organised an inter-house dance competition for students to allow them to express their patriotic ideals and showcase their talent. LMC members, along with guests of honour; Ms. Mandeep Kaur and Ms. Sukhpreet Kaur, the previous year’s toppers, graced the occasion with their presence. The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the national anthem. The participants performed dances on pre-recorded tracks wearing traditional Indian and tricolour attire and recited patriotic songs. The students showcased their dedication and patriotism through beautiful displays throughout the school. Each house performed well, but Service House won the winner trophy. The patriotic speech by LMC members, along with the school principal, instilled a feeling of patriotism and love for the nation among the students.
