A Virtual Career Workshop was organized at Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, in collaboration with Univariety on January 21, 2025. Two hundred seventy-nine students from classes VIII, IX, and X attended the session. The resource person, Ms. Ayushi Vasudev, focused on exploring career opportunities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and non-STEM fields.
STEM fields covered traditional streams like medicine and engineering and emerging areas such as AI, genetic engineering, and biomedical engineering. Non-STEM options such as humanities, commerce, and arts were also discussed, along with career pathways in psychology, media, design, and tourism.
The session concluded with a lively Q&A, during which students cleared doubts and received career guidance. The school principal, Mrs. Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh, appreciated the resource person for broadening students’ perspectives and guiding them toward informed decision-making.
