On June 28, 2024, a Spiritual Curriculum Demo Lessons Workshop was held at Darshan Academy, Ludhiana to promote holistic education. The event was attended by all the teachers who presented demo lessons. Observers were Ms. Komal Suneja and Ms. Suman. The session began with a warm welcome followed by meditation, setting a reflective tone for the day.
Each teacher put in her best efforts to make the lessons interesting and interactive through role-plays, power point presentations, and other engaging activities such as: Family Chain, Finger Puppets, Photo Frame, Miming Activity, Rhymes, Music and Movement, Graffiti Board, Sorting, Story Telling, and many more activities including real life scenarios with group discussions.
The topics included meditation, introspection, compassion, diet, conflict resolution, leadership and goal setting.
The attendees were actively involved, sharing ideas and gaining valuable insights that will help them instill spiritual and social values among their students. The workshop was a resounding success, providing a platform for teachers to share and learn from each other.
