Orientation Program for Parents of Classes VI-VIII

Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, organized an Orientation Program for the students of classes VI to VIII to mark the beginning of the new academic session. The program aimed to familiarize students with the school’s vision, code of conduct, educational expectations, and co-curricular opportunities while nurturing a positive and inclusive learning environment. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp, invoking the blessings of the Almighty, followed by a soulful meditation to set a peaceful and focused tone for the day. The school principal, Ms. Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh, addressed the students and encouraged them to embrace the new session with enthusiasm, discipline, and a positive mindset. During the orientation, students and parents were briefed about the school’s core values and daily routine, examination and assessment patterns, academic and emotional support availability, and guidelines for effectively using school resources. Special emphasis was laid on the importance of meditation, respectful behavior, time management, and active participation in all school activities. Parents were also invited to plant saplings during the program to foster environmental consciousness and strengthen the bond between home and school, symbolizing growth, care, and a shared commitment towards a greener future. The orientation program was a successful initiative to welcome students and prepare them for a joyful, meaningful, and productive school journey ahead.
