Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 15 August , 2024. On this occasion, the Vice President and Zonal Incharge of SKRM, S. Bhupinder Singh, The LMC members, Mr. B. R Hira, Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Mr Rakesh Guglani, former Sarpanch of Bhamian Kalan, S. Pritpal Singh and other eminent personalities from Bhamian Kalan along with the parents were invited to grace the occasion as special guests. The event featured a vibrant inter-house competition where students showcased their love for the nation through various performances.
The celebration also marked Scholarship Day, where students were awarded with scholarships including monetary rewards, certificates of excellence, and prestigious trophies in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
The Vice President and Zonal Incharge, S. Bhupinder Singh, former Sarpanch of Bhamian Kalan, S. Pritpal Singh and school Principal, Mrs. Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh shared motivational words with the students. They encouraged students to continue striving for excellence, emphasizing that their achievements would pave the way for future success and positively contribute to the nation’s progress. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by school primary coordinator Ms. Jagjit Kaur.
