On October 30, 2024, Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, celebrated Diwali with grandeur and community spirit through a festive Diwali Fair. The air was filled with the aroma of traditional delicacies, inviting students, parents, and staff to indulge in a range of savory snacks and sweet treats. This gastronomic experience fostered a strong sense of community as everyone gathered to share the joy of Diwali through food and festive flavors. The festivities began with a special morning assembly led by class V students, who presented an engaging role-play promoting the idea of a “Green Diwali.” Through their performance, they encouraged eco-friendly practices, sensitizing the audience to the importance of celebrating Diwali responsibly. Adding to the excitement, students from classes I to VIII took part in a Diya-Making competition, where they explored their decorative talents, creating beautifully adorned diyas. The Diwali festivities showcased the students’ dedication and enthusiasm, making the event a memorable cultural celebration within the school.
