Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, organized a special initiative to promote oral hygiene and dental care. This program aimed to raise students’ awareness of dental check-ups and oral care. During the morning assembly, dentists demonstrated the correct techniques for brushing and flossing teeth. Students were encouraged to incorporate these techniques into their daily routines. The dentists also displayed posters, dental models, and charts to explain the structure of teeth, common dental problems, and their prevention. After the assembly, the team of dentists conducted a thorough dental check-up for each student and provided necessary recommendations.
This day-long program proved highly successful in raising awareness and promoting health consciousness regarding oral hygiene among students. Both students and parents appreciated this initiative. Principal Mrs. Rajdeep Kaur Aulakh extended heartfelt gratitude to the visiting dental team and staff members for their support in organizing the program. Such initiatives strengthen the school’s commitment to its students’ holistic development and well-being.
