Celebrating the 80th Birth Anniversary of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj

Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, concluded the week-long Meditation and Peace Week, held from 19 to 26 September 2026, commemorating the 80th Birth Anniversary of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj.

Throughout the week, students, teachers and parents participated in activities promoting meditation, peace, compassion and selfless service. The celebrations included Mass Meditation, Shabad Gayan, Dance, Peace-themed Rhymes, Plantation and Cleanliness Drives, Bird Feeding, the Rainbow of Peace activity, and collection of stationery for underprivileged children. The spirit of seva was further strengthened through langar distribution, classroom assistance by students, distribution of Thank You cards, and an Awareness Session on Blood Donation for parents.

The concluding day on September 26 allowed students from different grades to share their reflections and experiences. Through their heartfelt words, they expressed how meditation helped them experience greater calmness and clarity and how acts of kindness inspired them to become more compassionate and caring.

The week concluded on a peaceful and inspiring note, reaffirming the values of inner peace, humility, compassion, selfless service and universal love, with a collective resolve to practise these values in everyday life.
