Darshan Academy, Ludhiana, organized Veer Baal Diwas to pay tribute to Chaar Sahibzades. A Bal Kavi Darbar was conducted on December 23, 2023, commemorating the martyrdom of four Sahibzades and Mata Gujri Ji. Various schools participated in it, and prizes were awarded to the winners. A special prayer assembly was organized wherein students recited shabads and poems in remembrance of the Sahibzades and Mata Gujri Ji’s sacrifice. Following the assembly, students watched the virtual Veer Baal Diwas program in the smart classroom, paying homage to Mata Gujri Ji. The event included singing holy Gurbani verses and demonstrating Gatka tricks in adherence to Sikh tradition. During the occasion, Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech honoring the bravery and sacrifice of Mata Gujri Ji and the Sahibzades. He urged the youth to draw inspiration from the life of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the Sahibzades, encouraging them to follow in their footsteps.
